Smoke Rise Farm pet cemetery was originally a Horse Farm until the family Horse passed away and was buried on the grounds. This was the start of the Pet Cemetery and Crematory located in Azle, Tx. that was opened to the public in 1982. The original owners retired and sold the business to the Maitland Family in Year 2000. Some of you might have known our son, Roger Maitland, even before the Maitland's bought the business as he worked for the original owners for quite a few years. Smoke Rise Farm is a beautiful, peaceful and well-groomed cemetery of 5 acres surrounded by another 20 acres where deer safely roam. As a family-owned business, we train our employees to have the same compassion, ethics, and respect that we have given to the pet's and pet owners for over 25 yrs. which has resulted in an Excellent Reputation. We service all areas of Fort Worth, Weatherford, Arlington, Hurst, Azle, Springtown and more with pet cremation, pet burial, and pet memorial products.

Our staff is in no way new to the experience. We are family-owned, certified crematory operators with years of experience. We understand the pain that you experience when having to say goodbye to your loving pet. We want to offer our assistance in the healing process by providing you with compassionate and respectful services, as well as products designed to help you manage the loss of your pet, in a dignified manner. Smoke Rise Farm offers pet burial and pet cremation services that pet families have trusted for many years. We offer a wide selection of optional urns, caskets, headstones, plaques, memorials and personalization. Our customers have choices to help with their closure. We pick up from your Veterinary Clinic, or you can bring your fur-baby to us in Azle. If your pet passes away at home, we can pick up your pet from your house. Knowing how important time is to the grieving process we make a point to be expedient with all our services. Our goal is to make this very difficult time an easy and professional experience for you and your family.

As a pet owner you have choices. Even if your veterinary partners with someone other than us you can choose to use any service provider that you feel most comfortable using.
